Charges have been laid after a disgruntled customer damaged multiple vehicles as he left the parking lot of a Chatham business.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a man who had been previously asked to leave a St. Clair Street business, attended the store again on Sunday shortly before 1:24 p.m.

Employees asked him to leave, but as the man left the store and walked through the parking lot, he struck vehicles randomly, causing damage.

A suspect was later located by police and arrested. A 36-year-old Chatham-Kent man is now charged with two counts of mischief. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
