Criminal harassment charges have been laid following an altercation between a man and woman in Orford Township.
Chatham-Kent Police got a call from a woman back on July 29th, who said she left her home and found an old high school acquaintance sitting near her garage. The woman allegedly had to chase the man off the property.
Then yesterday morning, authorities say the man was back, sitting outside on the victim’s deck,.
The accused, a 33-year-old man of no fixed address, has been arrested and released. He’ll have to appear in court next month.
