Unwanted messages have led to charges for a Chatham man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers received a harassment complaint on Thursday morning after a 37-year-old woman was sent multiple inappropriate messages from the same man. Despite requests to cease communications, the man continued to send messages.
Following an investigation, officers located and arrested a suspect in Chatham.
A 40-year-old Chatham man has now been charged with criminal harassment. He will answer the charge in court at a later date.
