A Chatham-Kent man is facing multiple charges after chasing neighbours with machete on Friday night.
Police say the incident was a part of an ongoing series of offences on Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham.
The man allegedly broke into a residence and punched a female victim. Police say the suspect then proceeded to chase neighbours with a machete.
The accused is charged with two counts of break and enter, assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, theft and mischief.
He was held for a bail hearing.
