A 62-year-old man is recovering after falling through the ice at Mitchell’s Bay yesterday.
The man was able to contact Chatham-Kent OPP when his ATV went through the ice.
He was able to pull himself from the neck deep water and began to make his way to shore while he spoke to the 911 operator.
It took about an hour, but some snowmobilers found him and brought him land.
He’s expected to make a full recovery.
