Manitoba Man Charged After 401 Crash

tow-truck-crash-dec-15A Manitoba truck driver has been charged with impaired driving following a crash on the 401 near Ridgetown.

Provincial Police say a transport collided with a stopped tow truck near Kent Bridge Road – the tow truck driver was preparing to pull another vehicle out of the centre median at the time.

The 49-year-old was taken to the OPP detachment when the officers suspected he’d been drinking.

Charges include impaired driving, driving with open alcohol in the vehicle, and failing to move over for an emergency vehicle.
