Recent manufacturing investments in Windsor and Leamington are expected to create dozens of new jobs for the southwest region.

The Ontario government announced its support on Thursday forĀ  $125 million in investments that will be made by four companies to expand manufacturing capacity in the automotive and food processing sectors.

The investments from DS Actimo Canada, Kautex Textron, and Integrity Tool & Mold Inc. in Windsor, as well as Highbury Canco Corp. in Leamington, will create 153 new jobs.

The province will also provide the companies with nearly $12 million in funding through Ontario’s Regional Development Program.
