Some of the best young female golfers in the province will be teeing it up at Maple City over the next few days.

Round one of the Ontario Junior Girls Golf Championship gets underway Monday morning.

61 players will take part in the first 36 holes Monday and Tuesday before they cut down to low 42 and ties for Wednesday and Thursday.

There will be plenty of local content with 5 players from Maple City competing.
