As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in Chatham-Kent, local doctor’s offices are reminding patients that face masks are still required.

Officials with Family Health Teams across Chatham-Kent are asking patients and any accompanying caregivers to wear a mask for all in-person appointments.

As well, residents are reminded to report any COVID-like symptoms when booking an appointment or when they arrive so staff can prepare accordingly.

Those symptoms include cough, shortness of breath, and fever or chills, among others.

There are four primary care sites across Chatham-Kent, including the Tilbury District Family Health Team, Chatham-Kent Family Health Team, Thamesview Family Health Team and Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres.
