Massive Border Drug Bust

A major drug bust at the Bluewater Bridge.

Agents with the Canada Border Service Agency pulled over a transport in Port Huron last Thursday.

A scan of the truck and subsequent search with a detector dog uncovered what amounts to 55 pounds of meth and two envelopes containing a total of $126,000 in American currency.

A 42-year-old Mississauga man is facing seven charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and importing a controlled substance.

The London RCMP Border Integrity Team has taken over the investigation.
