Mayor Darrin Canniff talked about rotating council meetings around the municipality during the campaign, and now he is ready to move forward.
He has made a notice of motion to hold two council meetings a year outside the council chambers.
Council will weigh in on the matter in March.
In the mean time you can have your say by using the Let’s Talk CK website.
For the next month there will be a survey to determine if you think it’s a good idea, and what locations would work best.
Among the communities expected to be on the list to host the rotating meetings are Wallaceburg, Dresden, Thamesville, and Blenheim.
You must register to participate and already 1100 residents have signed on.
