Crows are firmly in the sights of Chatham-Kent’s Mayor.
Randy Hope wants to see hunt clubs get involved, and target crows in the city.
“We’ve got hunt clubs out there throughout Chatham-Kent, very responsible with guns and everything else,” Hope says.”
The mayor would like to see a coordinated effort to rid the municipality of the nuisance birds.
“You’re going to do it probably five, six, seven nights as they’re coming into town, you’re going to follow them around the city as they come, you’re going to shoot. And they’re going to become aware, ‘Oh, if I go there, I’m going to get shot.'”
Originally discussed Nov. 21st, the issue will return December 12th to council.
