The province is looking beyond Canada’s borders as it tries to give a boost to the construction industry.
Infrastructure Minister Monte McNaughton is in Germany, where he announced a proposal to open access to foreign partnerships by allowing Crown agency Infrastructure Ontario to act as a consultant advisor to markets outside the province.
The new initiative will begin with two pilot projects. If they are successful, the government expects it will take on new clients in the near future.
