The local health unit is warning of two new possible measles exposure points, this time in Tilbury.

Chatham-Kent Public Health said anyone who attended the No Frills at 59 Mill St. on March 22 between 9:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. may have been exposed to the virus. Those who were at the Circle K at 90 Queen St. N on March 22 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. may also have been exposed.

Health officials have also issued a correction about a previously reported exposure at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Emergency Department. The time frame of the exposure is March 28 from 9:40 p.m. to 11:50 p.m. and not March 29.

Anyone who is not up-to-date on their vaccinations and was present during these times is urged to contact CK Public Health at 519-352-7270 ext. 5902.

If you are experiencing symptoms of measles and need to visit a healthcare provider, emergency department, or walk-in clinic, be sure to call ahead before attending.

Measles symptoms can include fever, runny nose, cough, drowsiness, irritability, and red eyes. A red rash appears on the face 3 to 7 days after the start of the above symptoms.
