As a national day of mourning will be held in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral next Monday, the Branch 18 Legion is giving Wallaceburg residents a chance to pay their respects.
A remembrance ceremony will be held at the cenotaph in Wallaceburg at 11 o’clock.
Residents are invited to start gathering at 10:45 with a service conducted by the Branch 18 executive and members. One commemorative wreath will be laid in memory of the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away September 8th at the age of 96.
Her funeral at Westminster Abbey will begin at 6am Eastern Time on Monday, September 19th.
