It seems local entrepreneurs have been making great use of the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board.
The committee’s Micro Lending program, which provides $5000 to help get new small businesses off the ground, has earmarked all of its available funds.
The program offers flexible terms and repayment options to entrepreneurs who might not otherwise qualify for traditional lending methods.
Officials say the Micro Lending program is being put on hold for the time being until its funds can be replenished.
