A reminder from Chatham-Kent police that it is always a good idea to stop at uncontrolled railway crossings after a train slammed into a car Sunday afternoon.
Police say the accident happened on Caledonia Road slid onto the tracks as a train was approaching.
Fortunately it just tagged the back end of the car and the driver was fine.
Damage pegged at $5000, and the 23 year old woman who was driving was charged with failing to stop at a railway crossing
