Charges have been laid after a destructive stroll through downtown Chatham.

According to police, a man threw a brick through the window of a Thames Street business Wednesday morning shortly before 8 o’clock.

A few hours later, a man was seen breaking a window at a building on William Street and flipping over garbage cans.

He was released from police custody with conditions and an appointment in court on July 27th.
