The Chatham-Kent Police Vulnerable Persons Registry has helped an elderly man get back home.
Authorities received a call from Durham Regional Police over the long weekend about a missing 86-year-old from their jurisdiction.
Local police were able to track down the man near Pain Court and he was taken to hospital for medical attention.
Authorities are encouraging residents to make use of the Vulnerable Persons Registry and keep their information updated for anyone in their car who may be at risk due to physical, medical, or mental health issues. In the event of an emergency, police will have quick access to this vital information allowing officers to respond quickly and effectively.
