Chatham-Kent’s mobile drive-thru testing clinics have been a hit across the municipality, with numbers growing on each stop.
CKHA’s Chief Nursing Executive Lisa Northcott says that Thamesville not only continued the trend, but exceeded all previous numbers.
“It’s incredible. We had over 500 people attend the mobile swabbing clinic in Thamesville. So we were really, really happy with the result there,” says Northcott. “That was our highest number in our mobile clinics. The clinics in Wallaceburg, Tilbury and Blenheim were also very successful.”
Due to the popularity and local demand for these clinics, mobile testing will now continue in both Dresden and Wheatley later this summer.
Northcott estimates those clinics to be in mid to late August.
