Water Wells First is holding a news conference this afternoon to release the details of a recent report from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

The Brooks family has been dealing with increased sediment in their well water since turbine construction began in early August.

In a recent statement, spokesperson Kevin Jakubec says the MOECC has found Samsung and Pattern – the developers of the North Kent Wind project – not at fault for area well problems.

Jakubec also says the Ministry has released North Kent Wind the responsibility of supplying water tanks to affected well owners.

The group plans to release its response to the Ministry later today.
