Once again Chatham-Kent police are dealing with a rash of 911 hang up calls.
27 in the last 24 hours to be exact.
The public is again being warned that any 911 call made by mistake, to stay on the line and speak with the dispatcher.
If you don’t, police are on their way. Dispatchers are required to roll emergency responders on a hang up call assuming the worst.
There asking the public to “lock it before tour pocket” when it comes to cell phones.
