A heads up to drivers – work is coming to Wallaceburg’s Lord Selkirk Bridge.
The span will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic sporadically over the next few weeks to make repairs to the locking mechanism.
The bridge will be shut down from 8am to 3pm on October 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th.
For the duration of that period, October 19th to the 27th, the bridge will remain in a fixed position and will not be opening for larger boats travelling down the Sydenham. Smaller boats will still be able to pass underneath.
