As the province settles into step 3 of the reopening plan, more local cultural sites are dusting off and ready to throw the doors open again.

The Thames Art Gallery is reopening on Wednesday with two exhibits. The first, on the main level will be 120 works from the gallery’s permanent collection, with historical and contemporary paintings, prized works, and seldom-seen objects. The mezzanine gallery features an exhibit called Facing North by artist Jean Hay.

All visits at the Thames Art Gallery have to be booked at least 24 hours in advance at www.chatham-kent.ca/TAG.

The Buxton National Historic Site and Museum is preparing to reopen on Monday, July 26th. Tours will need to be scheduled in advance, running at 10:30, 12:20, and 2:30 with no more than 10 people per timeslot.

The Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black mecca Museum is also set to open on July 26th with pre-scheduled guided tours.
