More COVID Cases Identified in CK Schools

There are now nine public schools in Chatham-Kent dealing with at least one case of COVID-19.

Contact tracing continues after one confirmed case was identified at Queen Elizabeth Public School in Chatham yesterday.

One case was confirmed at Tilbury District High School on Wednesday, although no staff or students were dismissed as a result.

There are also active cases connected to A.A. Wright in Wallaceburg, Dresden Area Central School, McNaughton Ave Public School, Tecumseh, Victor Lauriston, CKSS, and McGregor.

Two English Catholic elementary schools in Chatham are also affected. Two student cases were identified at Monsignor Uyen earlier this week, although no students or staff were sent home as a result. There is still just one case connected to St Anne in Blenheim.

All schools remain open.
