Another day, another warning for residents living along the Lake Erie shore.
The LTVCA has updated its flood warning for Erie Shore Drive, suggesting that flooding this afternoon and into tomorrow could be as bad as what was seen earlier this week.
A state of emergency was declared on Tuesday as strong winds and powerful waves battered the shoreline, destroying a number of properties.
Officials say that while they may have over-predicted the winds yesterday, tonight could see gusts as high as 65 kilometres an hour with waves potentially topping 2 metres high.
Flooding along Erie Shore Drive should be expected this afternoon and this evening. Severe flooding similar to what occurred on the 27th should be expected overnight.
