More Measles Exposure Points Reported In Chatham

Measles continues to be a problem in the municipality with health officials reporting three new exposure points in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Public Health said area residents may have been exposed to the measles virus if they attended Mercato at 725 Grand Ave. W. on April 14 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Those who attended the Walmart at 881 St Clair St. between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 15, or Lenovers Quality Meats & Seafood Ltd. at 525 Park Ave. E. on April 17 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. may also have been exposed.

Anyone who was present during these timeframes and is not up-to-date with their vaccinations is urged to call CK Public Health at 519-352-7270 ext. 5902.
