Chatham-Kent Public Health is opening up more vaccination appointments for those looking to get the Pfizer shots for their first, second, or booster doses.
Supply of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine had been limited across the province for weeks, but has since stabilized somewhat.
In a news release from Public Health, officials remind everyone both Moderna and Pfizer are safe, effective, and interchangeable mRNA vaccines, both providing a high level of protection against COVID-19.
Appointments can be booked online at www.GetYourShotCK.ca or by calling 519-351-1010 and leaving a voicemail message for a call back. Walk-In appointments are still being accepted for youth aged 5-11, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
