A Chatham woman already facing numerous charges in connection to a drug bust earlier this fall has been arrested again.

On October 4th, police executed a search warrant at a Park Street property. At the time, the woman was charged with various drug and weapons offences, and was released with conditions prohibiting her from possessing any illegal substances.

This Wednesday afternoon, officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit carried out another search warrant at the woman’s home on King Street West.

Roughly $33,500 worth of methamphetamine and cocaine were seized, along with a large amount of Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia.

The 46-year-old was once again arrested and taken to police headquarters. She has since been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
