Assault charges have been laid following a fight in Chatham.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, two men got into an argument at a Grand Avenue East motel early Thursday evening when things escalated and one man allegedly attacked and threatened the other.
A 54-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and assault causing bodily harm. The accused was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
