Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash

An investigation is ongoing following a two-vehicle collision west of Chatham that seriously injured a motorcyclist.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a motorcycle and an SUV collided on Queens Line between Drake Road and Dillon Road shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday.

The motorcyclist, a 49‑year‑old Raleigh Township man, was rushed to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance before being airlifted to the London Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 40‑year‑old Merlin woman, was assessed at the scene but was not taken to hospital.
