At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday August 27th, 2014, Mr. David Wilkins of Chatham in his 69th year.  Cherished son of the late Leslie and Isabel Wilkins.  Beloved husband of Annette for 32 years.  Loving father of Sherri Strong and her husband Wayne Collver, Deborah Morrison, Tracy Wilkins and her husband Brent Kilborn, all of London, Dale Richie and his friend Julie Makin of Orangeville, Carrol Pishl and her husband Mike of Wallaceburg, and Brian Richie and his wife Annette of Windsor.  He will be lovingly remembered by his eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Tim Wilkins and his wife Olga, and Judy Sweeting, and brother-in-law of Dorothy and Jim English.  Predeceased by his grandson Steven.  David, as a young man, worked at INCO in Sudbury, later served as a police officer in Owen Sound, and worked in car sales in both in London and Chatham.  Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Friday August 29th visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys St., Chatham, on Saturday August 30th at 1 p.m. with Pastor Bill Pipke officiating.  Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider Prostate Cancer Research and the O.S.P.C.A.
