Former Chatham-Kent police officer Robert Mugridge will finally learn his fate on September 17.
The date was chosen following sentencing submissions by both the Defense and Crown in Chatham court on Friday.
Mugridge pleaded guilty to defrauding members of public – primarily his own family and friends – of nearly $250,000.
The former Sergeant retired from the force back in January after being found guilty of 50 counts of misconduct.
Mugridge is in the slow process of repaying his debts.
