A busy day for Chatham-Kent police with multiple crashes.
Officers were called to Tweedsmuir Avenue in Chatham for a two-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon. No one was hurt, one of the drivers was charged with making an unsafe left turn.
Just before 6 last night, there was a crash between a police cruiser and another vehicle on Park Street near Prince in Chatham’s east end. Only minor damage was reported and a 55-year-old Chatham man has been charged with “starting from a stopped position, not in safety.”
Officers also responded to a pair of collisions involving deer last night. No one was hurt in either incident, but police are once again reminding drivers to slow down at dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active and harder to see.
