A 34-year-old man has been charged after allegedly assaulting a woman on more than one occasion.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman on Friday at a home in Chatham.
Following an investigation, police learned that this was not the first incident of domestic violence between the pair.
The accused turned himself in at police headquarters on Monday afternoon. He is now charged with three counts of assault causing bodily harm. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
