Municipal Nominations Pour In

The ballot for next fall’s municipal election is getting crowded.

Four current councillors have filed nomination papers to run for re-election, including Doug Sulman in Ward 6, Bryon Fluker and Mark Authier in Ward 1, and Steve Pinsonneault in Ward 3.

On Friday, retiring United Way CEO Karen Kirkwood-Whyte threw her hat in the ring for council in Ward 6 as well.

There are currently two people running for Mayor, and 12 candidates for council.

You can keep tabs on the list of nominees on the municipal website.

Chatham-Kent residents head to the polls October 22nd.
