Three municipal service centres in Chatham-Kent have reopened following a two-week closure caused by COVID-19.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent said the centres in Ridgetown, Tilbury, and Dresden are set to reopen Monday after being closed since January 31 due to a high level of staff under COVID-19 protocols.
The three centres were also closed for a two-week period back in January for the same reason.
Even though offices are now open, the municipality said citizens are still encouraged to use online municipal services, such as dog tag license renewals, property tax interim payments, and general information.
The municipality said employee and community safety will “continue to be the guiding principle regarding municipal services.”
