Municpal, CKHA Services Affected by Easter Weekend

Some changes are coming to services and programs across Chatham-Kent due to the Easter long weekend.

Good Friday and Easter Monday will see all municipal offices, government buildings, and courts closed down.

CK Transit won’t be running on Friday, but the rest of the weekend will operate as usual.

No garbage or recycling collection tomorrow, but next week’s schedule remains as normal, including collections on Monday.

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, ambulatory care, out-patient rehab services and other lab services will be closed both Friday and Monday, although there will be some pre-scheduled outpatient diagnostic tests throughout the long weekend.

No changes to testing at the COVID assessment centre on Richmond Street, it will be operating both Good Friday and Easter Monday as usual.

Emergency departments in both Wallaceburg and Chatham remain open 24/7.
