Chatham-Kent Police have now officially released the identity of a man murdered in Chatham a week ago.

35-year-old Manuel DaSilva died following a fight between several men on St George Street on June 3rd. Authorities say all of the men involved knew one another.

26-year-old Kyle Samko of Sarnia has been charged with first degree murder and made an appearance in court today.

A private service for da Silva was held in Sarnia earlier this week.

Meantime, the Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
