Lambton-Kent-Middlesex NDP representative Rex Issac is weighing in on the future of the NDP.
The process is underway to find the next leader and Issac says Mulcair did a good job following in Jack Layton’s footsteps.
“He’s an excellent leader, he’s done a excellent job in the house and I think he has portrayed that very confidently amongst the members. I know there was some concern on how the election results had rolled out because we had seen the red wave.”
Mulcair is expected to stay for at least a year as the party searches for a replacement.
