Another name has been added to the ballot leading up to this month’s provincial election.
Christian Sachs has been named the NDP candidate for the riding of Chatham-Kent-Leamington.
Sachs is a trustee with the Thames District School Board and volunteer with the Home and School Association.
Officials with the party say she is committed to sustainability and rural communities, and is passionate about improving education, healthcare, and affordable housing.
Sachs joins incumbent Trevor Jones with the PC Party as the only major party candidates in the riding who have formally announced they are running in the February 27th vote.
