A neighbour dispute in Chatham has landed a woman with charges.

Investigators say the accused had been part of an ongoing feud with her neighbour and approached the victims with a long gun, accusing them of theft.

Police say the argument escalated and the woman allegedly raised the gun and pointed it at the victims.

Officers arrived and the woman was arrested without incident. The weapon was identified as a pellet gun.

The 40-year-old is now facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and pointing a firearm. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
