Neighbourly Dispute Turns Violent In Wallaceburg

A man and woman from Wallaceburg are in trouble with the law after an argument with their neighbours turned violent.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said the argument escalated into a physical altercation between the neighbours on Queen Street in Wallaceburg Sunday evening.

Officers were called to the disturbance shortly before 8 p.m. and arrested a 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman and a 24-year-old Wallaceburg man.

The pair are now both charged with one count of assault. They have been released with a court date on June 15.
