Run CK is hosting the first run of the season. Neon Nights kicks things off tonight with the 5K run or walk tonight in Chatham.
The event is being held to help promote a healthier Chatham-Kent while getting members moving.
Race Director Doug Robbins says the event will close with a party to celebrate all participates accomplishments.
“It’s a one of a kind event where you run around the block and then right into a red carpet finish line that brings you right into a party,” says Robbins. “So all participants and guests need a wristband because there’s a great party at the end. A celebration of all the runners and walkers.”
The event starts at 7:30pm with participants meeting and ending at Club Lentinas.
