The Wallaceburg Health Coalition have announced a new campaign to stop hospital cut and restore hospital funding. The new campaign will have polling station where community members can vote on whether they want to see the cuts to stop.
Shirley Roebuck, Chair of the Wallaceburg Health Coalition says this new campaign is not only important but needed.
“We are doing it because there is a health care crisis in this province. Hospitals are being gutted or closed out right people do not have health care services like they once had and I would go as far as saying in some areas in this province the Canada health act is being violated.”
The Health Coalition will be holding a public meeting on Wednesday to finalize the plans for the new campaign.
