The local public school board has reached a new deal with its high school teachers.
Officials with the Lambton Kent District School Board says a collective agreement for permanent and occasional teacher members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation of Ontario, District 10, has now been ratified by both sides.
“This is wonderful news for our OSSTF staff, as well as the students that they are so committed to supporting across the board” said LKDSB Chair, Randy Campbell in a news release.
The agreement is retroactive to September 1, 2022 and will remain in place until August 31, 2026.
