Another record-breaking day for new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 1925 new infections, up one from yesterday’s record high.
The number of deaths blamed on the virus has risen with 26 fatalities reported this morning.
Closer to home, Windsor-Essex Public Health Unit announced 66 new cases today.
No new cases in Sarnia-Lambton, but two additional recoveries, bringing the total number of active cases to 20.
Chatham-Kent’s caseload stands at 33 as of the last update from public health on Friday. Numbers from the weekend will be released this afternoon.
