Chatham-Kent’s hospital has added a new physician to its roster specializing in Internal Medicine.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance said Dr. Ahmed Almradi moved to Chatham last year to join the Internal Medicine Department. The scope of his practice includes general gastroenterology, IBD, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, and liver disease.

Dr. Almradi has completed an advanced clinical Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Fellowship from Western University & University Hospital. He began his career at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander, Newfoundland, where he worked for two years as a Gastroenterologist Consultant and site lead for the Internal Medicine Department.

Dr. Almradi is currently accepting referrals. Those who would like a referral are encouraged to contact their primary care provider.
