New Festival Ready to Rock Wallaceburg

Wallaceburg will be rocking next August.

The inaugural Otter Creek Jam Fest, the brainchild of Wallaceburg resident Dennis Debot, will be held on the Civic Holiday long weekend.

The festival is being billed as a pre-party for WAMBO, which takes place the following weekend.

“The WAMBO team was approached by A. Debot and Sons, Dennis and Chad, about bringing a music festival to Wallaceburg,” Spokesman Aaron Hall says. “Tom Cochrane with Red Rider will be playing the second day on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, and Trooper will be the headlining act for the opening day on Friday, August 2nd.”

The event will take place on the Debots’ property at the corner of Margaret Avenue and Kimball Road on the eastern outskirts of Wallaceburg.

Hall says more details will be released about other acts and events in the weeks and months ahead.

Tickets can already be purchased online at ottercreekjamfest.com.
