New life is being breathed into a former nursing home in Tilbury.
Tilbury Manor was closed in 2025 with 75 beds moved to a new facility in Belle River. Now, the Fort Street building is being transformed into a new 46-bed facility.
Phase one of Lasalle Tilbury Retirement Residence is set to open at the end of August.
Officials say the first phase will include 22 refreshed private and semi-private suites on the building’s first floor, with additional renovations and amenities added over time.
